Unless you have the money to upgrade your closet at once, this step is the most important skill that you need to consider. Trust me, this is a very hard thing to do, and I know this because I can also be impatient at time. However, I have learned that timing is everything and that sometimes waiting can lead to finding the best things along the way.
Anyway, going back to our blog, being patient is important in our case also because it allows you not only to save money but also gives you time to look around, find your style, favorite stores, and upcoming styles on sale or clearance.

Most people believe that going “Thrift” saves you lots of money. I know this because I used to be one of them, and that was until I accidentally clicked on a spot at an online store that led me to find so many affordable stuffs that was brand new! Have a List of your favorite Fashion Boutique and Subscribe to them.
Shopping online can be convenient and can allow you to save your favorite items on your wish list for as long as you need, at least until it gets sold. Finding a good clothing store can be tricky. However, I have found a way that has help me in my search for good stuff and reputable businesses. Pinterest! Please be alert of scams as they can be found on channels such as this. Pinterest has over billions of users around the world with thousands of businesses posting about their products and services. There, you can find countless ideas on fashion, art, etc. Once you find the product of your choice, you can click it to find the website of the product. (I always recommend looking for their business reviews online, and if you find none, search them on other social media platforms, write them, and follow the steps on my blog post that will help you avoid online business scammer, to avoid scams). Once you find your favorite stores, make a list of them, follow them on social media and subscribe to their stores, or download their apps if they have one. This is going to be one of the best ways you can get to know about those stores and their sales events.

Become BFFs with online clothing boutiques
This step is very similar to the previous one. Like I mentioned above, I love shopping online. I have saved so much money, and have found beautiful stuff that fit my style just by doing that, all in the comfort of my own home. My advice to you is to SUBSCRIBE to your favorite stores to receive their newsletters just because you never know what’s on sale, and what’s new or on trend. By Befriending your favorite stores, you may get a chance to earn extra cash and even Free products by partnering with them. All you'll need to do is to take pictures, Spread the news, and let it rain when they buy because of you! That Simple.

Make the most of those crazy discounts!
That’s the point of this post, SAVE, SAVE, SAVE! Most boutiques have stuff on sale when they’re trying to introduce their new products to you. Those sales would usually last up to 7 days (if they’re generous). This gives you the opportunity to try on new products for lesser than its original price. These sales are usually based on limited amount of products on each categories and are first come first serve. This is sometimes why sales don’t usually last long. Time to finally get that cute dress you saved on your Wishlist before someone else gets it!

Rock last season's threads with confidence
Most stores like to put their products on clearance when they want to clear out their stores to add new products, and sometimes their clearance sales can save you up to 50% compared to the 5-15% on New products sales. In this case you need to be willing to wear last season clothing. I usually recommend that you get something that’s timeless or something you can wear on different multiple seasons. However, I found that even buying an expensive Winter Coat that’s on clearance for 50% or more is a great investment just because Winter comes every years and the coat doesn’t. Plus you get to look expensive every winter for something you purchased at a fraction of the price. Who's gonna know? A great bargain, am I right or am I right?
Tip: This is how I find affordable stuff online. I simply go to the store of my choice and find the “sort” button on the top of the product screen. After clicking the button, I choose the product by Price “lower-highest” then, Bingo!
