Mistakes online Clothing Shoppers make and 1 VERY IMPORTANT thing you should ALWAYS Consider to avoid Returns

Have you ever felt in love with an outfit you saw online then ordered it only to find out that you actually hate it on you? I know I have, and for a long time I thought there was something wrong with me until I started stating the obvious. The models weren’t shaped like me.

This discovery led me to want to  talk about this error and hopefully help you  avoid the same mistakes. And so, my topic for today will be on body shapes. Do you, by any chance, know your body shape? I know I didn't, and was blessed to find that out only because knowing it changed the way I shopped and the results I received after, and I hope that this will make a difference in your shopping experience.

In this blog post, I will be going over different body shapes, how you can identify them, and briefly explain to you the types of clothing that would fit most appropriately depending on your shape. Please keep in mind that I will be post more about ideal clothing for each body shapes! And subscribe to get updates about those blog posts.

Few pointers:

There are many beautiful body sizes out there that we should acknowledge and also appreciate beside the hourglass shape. You know, because all women were created beautiful.

Please keep in mind that someone’s body shape can change depending on their diet and physical activities, and most importantly you should remember that ALL body shapes are equally beautiful.

So, without further a due, here are few:

Rectangular Body Shape

The rectangular shape is also sometimes referred to as the “Boyish” as most ladies tend to have an equal measurement around their shoulders, waist and hips. These ladies are recommended to wear a belt or something that narrows their hips to give them some curves or something that separate their bodies. Most super models and athletes have this body shape.

The Appel Shape or the Inverted Triangular body shape.

This refers to ladies who carry their weight around their shoulders and waist and are thinner around their hips, bottom and legs.  We usually recommend our ladies with this gorgeous body shape to wear something slightly tighter on top and wider on bottom to give them a good balance.

The Triangular or the Pear Shape

It’s just like how you hear it. A triangle and a pear both have narrower tops and Wider bottoms. Celebrities such as Kim K have this body shape. We usually recommend that ladies with this body shape to avoid baggy clothing especially not baggy tops as it tends to hide their figure. However, we recommend that they wear any top or bottom that can help accentuate their curves rather than hide it.

The hourglass body shape

I’m sure you’ve hear about this body shape so many times and are probably believing that this, is the ideal feminine body shape. Well, no. Every female body shape is an ideal body shape. But in this post we are going to talk about what makes someone’s body shape an hourglass shape. Well, an hourglass body shape really means that the shoulders  are as wide as the hips, with a much smaller waist size. You can find this body shape on celebrities like Beyonce. Just like in females with the rectangular body shapes, we recommend ladies with hourglass body shape to avoid rectangular shaped clothing and must wear a belt around their waist or something that can help separate their top to their hips. This is to avoid looking more overweight than one might be.

The round Body shape

This body shape is usually found among women who carry most of their waist around their belly, and tend to be slimmer around their shoulders, hips and legs. We usually see this in most women after they have given birth, and others are born that way. We usually advise our ladies with this beautiful body shape to watch out when wearing A-line  Dresses. A more rectangular shaped clothing can help create a nice balance between their shoulders, waist, hips, and legs.

Last but not least,

I will touch base more on what to wear depending on your body shape in the upcoming post, as of right now, I leave you with this piece of information to let it sink in. I hope this post helped you know more about body shapes. I also hope that it helped you know about your shape.
